He originated the idea for the Tau-Charm Factory, an accelerator now under construction as BEPC II in Beijing. Jasper Kirkby Refers to Clouds Being SeededIn this video, Atmospheric Scientist Jasper Kirkby, PhD gives his presentation to CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) regarding climate, clouds and albedo (solar reflectivity). At about 1:18 into the video, he makes a reference to "jets dumping aerosols" into the atmosphere. It's possible that Jasper is claiming that the trails left by the jets in the large picture he's referring to are condensation trails, but it's difficult to imagine any scientist in this field still believing this. The manner of his speech and the use of the word "dumping" indicates that he believes they are intentionally spraying aerosols, but we cannot be certain of his intentions.
