Chemtrail testing programs have been in effect for a long time. The equipment had to be designed and modified to work with jets and to disperse chemicals in such a way that the majority would not smell or taste them.
Unfortunately for them, the majority of people still sees them, so the best way to "hide" the visible trails is in plain sight through normalization. The other method used is to make them less visible by flying higher and converting to short, non-persistent trails.
This Vatican coin was minted in 1985, a time when the global implementation of the chemical spraying program was just beginning. Of course, the process of spraying people was utilized in the Vietnam war, but the global implementation of the program slowly spread across the U.S. and Europe, year by year, city by city.
