"AW: Luftraumeinteilung - FIR
Zitat: Zitat von Rememberer
Kann mir da jemand erklären wieso FIR nicht gleich Area of Responsibility?

Gruss
Simon

Hallo Simon, schöner Name übrigens...

Hmm...

Alles klar?

"Can somebody explain why FIR (Flight information region) is not the same as the 'Area of responsibility' (AoR)?" (Simon)

"The cantone of Zürich is the Flight information region (FIR), the 'Area of responsibility' (AoR) is only your house and garden.

Or the other way around: the Area of responsibility (AoR) of the Confederation is Switzerland, existing of 26 Flight information regions (FIR), and you are living in the Flight information region (FIR) of Zürich.

Alright?" (Lumpy)
