"Operation Raincheck - NextGen

Program Overview

In September, 2008, Chicago Center identified the need to implement proactive communications, education, media and public outreach strategies and practices in its strategic planning process for FY2009. In response to this need, Operation Raincheck-NextGen was developed by a Chicago Center workgroup. The program is designed to familiarize the local aviation community with the Chicago Air Route Traffic Control Center and give attendees a close-up look at how operations at ATC facilities are conducted. This program is accredited for the FAA sponsored WINGS Currency and Proficiency Awards Program."

"Operation Raincheck - NextGen Registration

For security purposes ATTENDEES MUST BE INDIVIDUALLY PRE-REGISTERED. (If you would like to bring a guest, have them register separately). Registration closes at 4:00 PM on the Friday prior to the event. Walk-ins will not be allowed into the facility.

No sessions currently scheduled."

If you dial this link
http://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/headquarters_offices/ato/artcc/chicago/raincheck/survey/
there was obviously the last session date on 04/14/2009 - a long time ago.

Nevertheless, Chicago is important as Will Thomas reported about the air traffic controllers:
"Controllers at Chicago's O'Hare (still the busiest airport in America), all three New York City area airports, LA's LAX, San Francisco, Jacksonville, Cleveland, San Diego, Dulles, Washington DC and the nation's biggest airport in Atlanta all reported tracking unusual formations of particle-emitting Air Force tankers on their scopes."

If there isn't a visit within the framework of "Raincheck - NextGen" possible a visit to the gate might be informative to mobilize the sociability of that center.

As amunition for the argument the following videos might be useful:

The contexts described in the videos might be worldwide always the same: The contradiction between the physical conditions to form contrails and the real weather conditions with the aspects of humidity and temperature which don't give the possibility to give longlasting contrails a chance. In the end there will be under these circumstances only the explanation that these longlasting contrails were "treated" with somewhat. And this somewhat gives the longlasting contrails the name of "chem"trails. The somewhat can also be called Aerosols. The name to describe the somewhat depends on including or excluding someone from the public discussion. And that is the methodology of propaganda - willingly not to understand what the other one means.
What is urgent: It has to be filtered out what kind of dangers relate to these somewhats in the sky. That is the goal and that is the objective.
