Haloes round the sun can only be caused by pure water ice crystals of a specific shape

Metal salts dissolved in water would lower the freezing point so that ice crystals would not form
Water droplets do NOT form haloes
Rainbows, yes, haloes, no
But you aren't looking at a rainbow here, are you?
The same goes for "dusts" & "powders", by the way
They also? prevent the formation of haloes
It makes one ask what other mistakes you are making, doesn't it?
