ETC seems to have an agenda. Yes, they may appear to have provided a new tool, but it seems to be a steering tactic.
Who cares what they have in mind? Use the tool they have provided, for our purposes.
I do not want to give up and live in their little lie, play by their rules, never utter the "C" word, this is a rather spineless way to sell out all of the damage that has already been done. I am sure many others feel the same way. Going this route will only lead to more futility.

Climate change skeptics or not; it is the same camp with both being equally dirty.

Perhaps the anthropogenic climate change crowd got caught sticking their thermometer in the wrong place (climategate)and they are a bit put out that people are just not buying into it as much as when they first started, so now the reins are being reluctantly passed back to the guys who have been forcing geoengineering through the back door.
Just like the great show in politics between republicans and democrats; we are being duped into pointing fingers and following the false pretense of "geoengineering".
False pretence or not, it is now illegal. And has been placed on “respectable” political agendas.

They jumped the gun on this one and there will be no band-aid big enough to stop the bleeding once the law suits are launched. Keep testing, photographing, investigating and documenting - and keep all past records of evidence. This is the only way to stop these buggers, short of using Surface to Air Missiles - as some have suggested.
