The thread "Irony: We May Spray Particles....etc." should not be locked because this phenomenon of the media (and not only the media)talking about what "may" happen when it is actually happening should not just be the subject of irony, ironically accepted in a spirit of cynicism. It should be subjected to analysis and some conclusions drawn.
