So, when you (Denglish) talk about following the money, do you speak of who makes the profits from controlling weather or who finances the research and means required to control it ?
As you have put it yourself: Control.
Following the money does not mean only to find somebody who gets the profits but also to find someone who controls the profit structure and who is developing a profit structure.
An example: the transfer from a fossile fueled economy to a CO²-free economy means that there will be less employees to run the economy. An E-car has a motor with less parts in it. The added value is lower and therefore less difficult to be produced which means fewer profits in each production step. The profit structure to produce a car will be changed.
But who is running the CO²-campaign? Who has the power to bring this topic into the minds of the masses again and again? Who has the power to change the profit structure by scaring a whole populace?`
The same with the planned cashless society which will enslave everybody. These are long-term strategies as David Keith put it himself: The values within the populace change only in the long run.
