As we know plants are producing all kinds of sugar from carbondioxide with the help of the sun. The sun radiation splits the hydrogen atom from the oxygen atom. The carbondioxide molecule is splitted equally into a carbon atom and oxygen atoms. The hydrogen atom is added to the carbon atom which is "sugar". This process is called photo synthesis.
If you want to reduce carbon from the atmosphere you prevent plant growth.
As I noted you never mentioned in your recommendation that the reason of too much carbon in the atmosphere is mankind. Instead of it you cite in note 3: " 'Our present carbon-intensive energy system and related activities cause an estimated 4.5 million deaths each year linked to air pollution, hazardous occupations and cancer.' A Guide to the Cold Calculus of a Hot Planet, Climate Vulnerability Monitor 2nd Edition."
This means that you don't know yourself if the carbon-intensive energy system would be the cause of a "greenhouse" effect as is widespreadly propagated in the public. Ms. Davila, you rely yourself on the suspected knowledge of others.
Therefore, it might be useful for you to listen to the following address of a scientist in meteorology and physics to broaden your knowledge in this public discussion:

This means that the feared green house effect of CO² is not there as the temperature storage capability of CO² is 3 degrees C in total whereas the first 20 parts per million of CO² have stored 1,5 degrees C in their molecules a long time ago. The rest of the 3 degrees C - 1,5 degrees C - has increased the temperature storage only logarithmically aleph null. In preindustrial times there were 380 parts per million in the air. Every added CO²-molecule has a temperature storage capacity aleph null.
Ms. Davilla you ought to know that before you are scared by unrealistic imaginations. And scare others, too.
