In this BBC documentary there is an example shown of how CO² is allegedly working as a trap of heat radiation. You may look below to realize the snapshots taken from the BBC documentary.

As the author of the BBC documentary is himself a geologist and lecturer at the Plymouth University, England, UK, one may expect that this supposedly scientific experiment may show the amount of CO² used in the glas tube showing the effect of CO² on the candle light. Unfortunately, he does not give a hint of the amount of CO² in the glas tube released from the gas bottle to the right of the author of the BBC documentary.

The principle problem of unterstanding the alleged greenhouse effect of CO² is how 0,04 percent of CO² in the earth's atmosphere can be enough to develop a greenhouse effect. The probability of heat radiation being trapped by CO² is 0,04 percent. The probability of heat radiation released into outer space is 99,96 percent without the greenhouse gas "water clouds" which depend on the particles of the sun wind.

If you assume that the heat radiation being trapped into the CO²-molecule for the first time is 0,04 % is being irradiated a second time by another CO²-molecule you have a probability of 0,04 % * 0,04 % which has a probability as multiplication product of 0,0016. This means a heat irradiation of 99,9984 % into outer space without the greenhouse gas "water clouds".

The conclusion is: Either the heat disappears into outer space or into "water clouds" which are raining or snowing down eventually.
