Jet Turbofan Engine Fuel Flow Rates are Much Too Low To Create Condensation TrailsThe widespread acceptance of
a lie in any civilization takes only 1/2 of a generation, and we are already half the way there.
Make up your own mind using common sense, not EPA propaganda.
The contrail lie is much like
the 9-11 lie the government tried to sell to the public. The lie is so ridiculous that more people tend to believe it because they think a propagandic lie would be more logical. In other words, bad official lies actually work better as propaganda than good lies do.
Think about this scenario:
Consider a worst-case scenario: An enormous Boeing 747. Calculating the fuel flow rate of the engines, we will line up 750 gallon-sized milk jugs with kerosene all spaced out for 550 miles to simulate the rate fuel is misted into the engines. How much of a plume will form from the resulting carbon soot when ignited?
That's right: None. Carbon soot does not induce the formation of contrails. There has to be sufficient moisture available, and there is not; not even close. Even if the jugs were completely filled with pure water, there would be far too little water to produce visible trails. This is why historically we have no jet trails despite air traffic increasing less that 1% per year according to FAA's own statistics.
Consider the above scenario. The resulting
carbon soot produced by burnt kerosene (which is essentially what jet fuel is) is spread out over 500 miles and thoroughly diluted with millions of cubic feet of clean, clear air rushing through the bypass air chamber of the engine. There is no chance of producing trails any different than the faint, dark, carbon soot trails you can see at any airport. Remember, 85% of the air expelled is clean, clear, uncombusted air that is simply pushed around the core by a large fan and expelled out the back of the engine.
Picture spraying 1 gallon of water out of a garden hose in a fine mist over the distance of three-quarters of a mile in cold weather. Now, compare this image with the non-persistent trails we see today. These trails spread out from 2 to 10 times the width of the jet's wings (the width of a football field to over half a mile wide) in 30 to 60 seconds. This is clearly impossible with 1 gallon of water. Furthermore, burnt jet fuel produces primarily carbon soot, and very little water. Those with engineering minds, think about this carefully.
Even if you use
NASA's own data (which has been significantly exaggerated to falsely support the current "contrail" propaganda campaign) to predict "conditions favorable for contrail formation", once interpolated, their own data indicates contrails will not form from virtually all flights you see in the sky today. This conclusion is drawn using their own data which is heavily skewed in the "contrail" direction. They just don't expect the public to ever do the math.
Remember, just as doctors have been mis-taught (a kind way of saying propagandized) about
cancer cures and alternative inexpensive (non-profitable) therapies; Just as dentists have been propagandized about the "safety" of
amalgam (mercury) fillings in college; Just as schoolchildren are being
propagansized about "contrails" in textbooks,
movies, cartoons, and
advertisements today; jet airline mechanics and pilots have also been thoroughly propagandized to believe in high-bypass contrails. Of course
those doing the propagandizing are going to target those in the airline industry.
Please remember, the widespread acceptance of a lie in any civilization takes only 1/2 of a generation, and we are already half the way there.
