We can look already back to a long weather modification history. Weather modification is going on for decades!
Also, in the military realm which is usually closed to public eyes there is a long history of over-the-horizon-radar applications.
At least, the BUND restricts itself to the point of its OWN OPINION which is a realistic attitude as I am myself not that sure as the "published" opinion is. And this poise of the "published" opinion is the source of mistrust.
I agree with BUND that there is a growing social inequality - worldwide. And this is my opinion: this growing social inequality COULD be the source of a feared will of annihilation by the greedies.
There is already a Newspeak word for it: Disruption.
As we know from history this kind of thinking is not that far away as it appears today.
