"(...) Boron and aluminum in competition
Speaking cognitive: within th brain boron is the most known trace element in a proportion of 200 to 500 micrograms. This fact is measured with no meaning so far. While making his teammates elements in the industry important boron holds himself back modestly as a leader of the IIIrd main group within the element table B, Al , Ga , In, and Th. As a student, I put to the cognitive Mnemonic: 'Bei Allen Gazellen In Thailand.'[German]
For prevention of Alzheimer's disease boron could be an important key factor. Amazing: The autopsy of brains of deceased Alzheimer's patients showed higher concentrations of aluminum than usual. Why does aluminum plays in this context a role? For this purpose, it is said that within the biochemical contest with boron - a aluminum molecule can displace three boron molecules. Unconsciously, we burden our body with more than enough aluminum-containing substances: with food, drinking water and the inhalation.

Aluminum and boron - as the brothers Cain and Abel
As an "antagonist" of the element boron aluminum also blocks the energy flow of the plant. By high aluminum contents in the soil plants don't root no more in depth. Forest decline is also due to a boron deficiency in the soil. Boron - poor soils result in higher plants deficiency symptoms; they cause dry or root rot. In plants and animals boron is essential for the stability and functionality of the cell walls. It is used for signal transmission through cell membranes. (...)" (Translated by Google and Denglisch)
