Hello, I record big sections of sky from outside my 3rd story window. I use a time lapse feature on my camcorder at a 1photo/5second rate. There are many ways to time lapse, even with a camera. This is a great way to get proof as to what is happening with what trails. Doing this for multiple days will show where commercial flight paths. Depending on how you angle your recording device you can also get a general idea of altitude. I encourage more people to do this. Please watch my YouTube video titled: Another regular day [1]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-8_QBaMeDII also recommend watching some other days with much action such as: Another regular day [6] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9DPt48qV9cAnother regular day [8] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5AXXciF2ugPlease start recording and posting!

This is an amazing way to watch full daylight sections of sky in 4~5 mins.
I will be continuing to record new sections of sky. I will be adding a time-stamp on my videos, slow down some sections, and also turning down the music vol a bit. A tip for others: Don't forget to render your precious footage in HD so it can be viewed with clarity. Planes move VERY FAST in time lapse. They are small and may look like orbs (depends on lighting). It is much easier to notice planes with & without trails in HD.
& yes, I noticed admin has posted great info on this already. Thank you admin!
