As the New Age Movement is supposed to be part of a "distraction policy" it should be known, that the mentioning of the metapher of a Belt in the statement of Harald Kautz-Vella: "We are crossing the equitorial tier of the Milky Way right now. It looks more or less like the rings of the Saturn." is not equal to this alleged Photon Belt described in Wikipedia:
"The Photon Belt (also called the Photon Band, Photon Ring, Manasic Ring, or Golden Nebula) is a spiritual belief, largely linked to some parts of the New Age Movement."

This way it may be mixed with the thesis of DR. ALEXEY N. DMITRIEV* about the changed planeto-physical state of the earth and other planets in the solar system. It is supposed to be similiar rather to the saturn rings than any photons (therefore: Photon Belt) which are electrons in the visible spectrum. Dust has a bigger physical size than just electrons which would be just higher radiation inside the supposed photon belt. Nevertheless, the interstellar dust discovered by Dr. Alexey N. Dmitriev produces frictions with the heliosphere of the solar system. This heliosphere is quasi the atmosphere of the solar system. And the friction with this dust has consequences for the state within the heliosphere. This way the reasons of the changed planeto-physical state has PHYSICAL reasons and not spiritual ones. As the change state would have - according to Dmitriev - physical causes it ought to be measured adequately with usual metering equipment. Of course, the quality of data is dependent from the quality and reputation of the measurement agent.

Wikipedia explains further, what the New Age Movement refers to:
"German engineer and esotericist Paul Otto Hesse (died December 30, 1958) described his beliefs about the Photon Belt and its impact on humanity and planet Earth in his book Der Jüngste Tag (First Edition, 1950)[2] (English:'The Last Day','Doomsday','Judgement Day'). "

Again: "NO ONE CAN KNOW EXACTLY WHEN WE WILL ENTER THE PHOTON BELT"
This means that Hesse did not predict any specific date when this supposed light belt will be entered.
This is something different from what Dmitriev supposes to happen. His reasoning is based on physical data like the change of temperature on Mars and other celestial objects within the heliosphere.
Nevertheless, the picture with the Manasic Belt gives an idea how one has to imagine how the heliosphere is placed within the Milky Way. For that reason the picture works - as a metapher. You just have to replace the word Photonic by Dust. Maybe it is not even a belt crossing the whole galaxy and just a cloud within the Milky Way in our neighbourhood.
