A: Robin Gordon: "I think that the biggest problem now facing Kingman is the downturn in the economy. This downturn has also had a negative effect on the local building industry - both for local builders and the building-related manufacturing facilities at the Airport Industrial Park.
We need to do all that we can to promote Kingman to people outside of our community. One of the ways we could do this would be to develop a marketing plan to be used in areas where current residents could consider Kingman as a location to relocate to. We also need to bring in other types of business to employee working people in Kingman. We on the Council need to make sure that we are good stewards of the citizens' moneys and make sure that the revenues that we have are spent wisely.
