Farm Update. I only have a few minutes as the days are shorter to get the same amount of work in.

We had the killer frost come a couple weeks ago. I decided to harvest my hard winter squash because it was going to be consistently in the 20's. I harvested winter squash and pumpkins. When picking the winter squash I noticed that the color was different from what was exposed to the air and what lay on the ground.

A few days later brown scratches appeared on the squash. A few days later indentations appeared. And the other day when I went to take pictures the flesh of the squash was being eaten off by mold. This happened to every single squash.

We went to get some apples as we do not have an orchard and all the squash at the fruit market also had the same signature.

I had the squash ripening in my window sill but after a few days had to begin anti-fungal treatment and removed them to outside.

This was after the worse geo-engineering event I have seen yet.

Take a peek at these horrifying photos.

From the trenches,
Celeste
