Despite of the fact that CO² has a total climate sensitivity of 3° C which is logarythmically structured with 1,5° C for the first 20 ppm a whole scientific branch constructed a myth around the CO² with men as a cause in the middle.
The logic behind it: Less people less CO² in the atmosphere.
